Project description

Our thirty-person team of data journalists, designers, researcher, editors and developers had another busy year creaing data-driven news stories and graphics. We reported on everything from finance and the economy (our bread & butter) to the effects of Brexit, our chaotic presidency, climate change, gender equality in the workplace and European elections.

What makes this project innovative?

Not only does Bloomberg create breaking-news graphics and feature stories / data visualizations, our team also creates and updates evergreen stories that update on a continual basis. These products include a monthly U.S. jobs report, real estate prices for London and New York and CEO pay ratio tracker.

What was the impact of your project? How did you measure it?

With access to a wealth of data and talent from around the world, Bloomberg is able to reach a global business audience and create market-moving news.
